Our Team

Dr. Stephanie Fonda has 20 years of experience in research, with the past 15 focused on diabetes. Dr. Fonda has designed research projects to develop new technologies for assisting with diabetes self and care management, internet-based programs for facilitating patient-provider communication, patient education, and care management, and telehealth eye care programs screening for and promoting public awareness of diabetic retinopathy.

At Estenda Solutions, Dr. Fonda composes grant proposals and analyzes and examines data for research projects that help drive software solutions. Her expertise in grant writing allows Estenda to pursue grant funding for healthcare and medical software projects, and expand its service offerings, assisting professionals in crafting grant applications.

Dr. Fonda holds a Ph.D. in Sociology from Duke University. She is the lead author of numerous articles published in the sociology and science fields.
