Samsung Launches Health Research Stack 2.0 Beta

Samsung has unveiled the 2.0 Beta version of its Health Research Stack, now part of the Samsung Health SDK Suite. This open-source platform streamlines digital health innovation with tools like an app SDK for building mobile and smartwatch apps, a back-end service for data management, and a web portal for study design and analysis. Enhancements include support for wearable devices like the Galaxy Watch, enabling measurement of electrocardiograms, blood oxygen levels, and body composition, as well as new tools for leveraging sleep data from the Galaxy Ring.

Tailored for large-scale clinical trials, the updated back-end service improves study management, while the web portal facilitates patient recruitment and data analysis. Already used in international clinical studies, the platform underscores Samsung’s commitment to expanding the digital health ecosystem and driving breakthroughs in healthcare research.
